A fond farewell to Zoe
Our shining light and social media guru Zoe is heading off to Wellington, and while we’re incredibly excited for her next chapter, she will be deeply missed by our team and clients alike. Zoe has brought creativity, warmth and an infectious energy to True Grit, both in the salon and online, and we’re so grateful for everything she’s contributed. From capturing beautiful hair moments to being a kind presence on the floor, she’s been a true gem. We wish you all the very best in Wellington, Zoe. You’ll always be part of the True Grit family.
Meet Isla – our newest New Generation Stylist
We’re thrilled to introduce Isla, who has officially stepped into her role as a New Generation Stylist at True Grit. Isla is calm, thoughtful and meticulous in her work, with a natural talent for creating wearable, well-finished hair. She’s passionate about learning, loves a consult, and is already building a loyal following.

Congratulations Georgia – now a Style Director

Meet Our New Apprentice: Madelyn!
We’re thrilled to welcome Madelyn (pictured left with our other apprentice, Mya) to the True Grit team! She’s just started her journey as a first-year hairdressing apprentice and is already full of energy and excitement. Madelyn says: “Hi, my name’s Madelyn. This week is my first official week at TG. I’m a first-year apprentice and I’m so excited to be working at True Grit with all the amazing girls. I came here because a previous staff member had told me all about True Grit and all the opportunities she had been given here – can’t wait to start my adventure!” We can’t wait to watch Madelyn learn, grow and bring her own sparkle to the salon.
