Last Thursday True Grit got the great opportunity to have a look through the Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch. The team at True Grit donates time out for the mothers of  children who are staying in Ronald McDonald House by offering them a fab ritual and a blow-wave. This was at the Industry Awards held in Auckland over the weekend. Jacqui, Sarah and Ashlee have been in Melbourne for the Australian Hair Expo and Awards. We were nominated for Best Salon Design and although we didn’t win (congratulations Edward and Co Alexandra!) the team had a fantastic time and were wowed by the truly inspirational hairdressers in Australia. They attended many look-and-learns and discovered new styles of cutting and colouring which they’re keen to put into practice back home in the True Grit salon.
