Naomi Anderson is one of our outstanding Advanced Style Directors here on the team at True Grit. So outstanding of course that she jet-set off to New Zealand Fashion Week 2019 to help the L’Oréal Pro backstage team on some of NZFW’s most prestigious shows.
The L’Oréal Pro team partnered with a Zambesi, Maggie Marilyn and Taranaki-based designer Bobby Luke to create phenomenal fashion show hair. All looks were created using L’Oréal Professionel’s new Tecni.Art styling range, the amazing Dyson Supersonic and other L’Oréal Pro hair styling essentials.
Naomi had the absolute pleasure of helping create the catwalk looks for the iconic brand Zambesi’s Retrospective show, celebrating their 40 year anniversary. Scroll down for a glimpse of catwalk looks from this show and more!
L’Oréal Pro X 40 Years of Zambesi
L’Oréal Pro X Maggie Marilyn
L’Oréal Professionnel partnered with Maggie Marilyn for a NZFW catwalk show that was a melting pot of race, culture and identity. Equally, the show was a perfect example of the sustainability initiatives endeavoured by both brands to support the environment: with a ban on all single-use plastic bottles, takeaway coffee cups and takeaway food packages on site.
The catwalk looks were all about effortless, natural beauty to enhance the Maggie Marilyn girl’s natural features. Check them out below…
